- Ripple Plans To Go Public After SEC Suit Resolution Is Settled

Ripple Labs CEO Brad Garlinghouse sighted that Ripple going public is imminent and is only delayed by the SEC lawsuit. Ripple is questioning why SEC thinks that bitcoin and ether were commodities, not securities like XRP. Ripple however hasn't stopped working with partners overseas as they view it as a currency, signing over 20 contracts this year. Cathie Wood' Ark Invest first bought Bitcoin in 2015 through Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) when it was only worth 200 dollars. Also, during the recent Bitcoin’s 40% decline, Ark Invest bought $19,872,939 worth of Bitcoin, through Grayscale Bitcoin Trust. - $13.7 Billion Locked In Ethereum 2.0 Deposit Contract Ahead Of London Hard Fork

The record from a twitter Analytics that tracks validators in the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract launched in December 2020, have reported a new all time high of over five million ETH. It also shows that the USD worth of the TLV deposited to the ETH 2.0 contract is now about $13.7 billion. Also, the the number of new validators is at 1,097 daily with overall active validators 148,761. IOHK, Cardano's parent company is set to develop a DeFi suite of products called Marlowe. This development is made with the purpose of allowing developers, retail end users, and enterprise users to build their own financial instruments and set up agreements. The system is simple to use, meaning one doesn't need to understand the complexities of blockchain or how to write smart contracts before using it. - Chile To Use Blockchain-based System To Track Renewable Energy Use

Chile plans to use a blockchain-based system called Renova to track the use and flow of energy created through renewable systems. “Renova” was built by Chile’s electricity coordinator CEN, and is a way the government and other stakeholders plans to show that mining is actually energy efficient and environmentally friendly using renewable energy. Sheetz, a Convenience store giant plans to partner with Crypto Payments Startup, Flexa to start accepting crypto, according to their recent announcement. Sheetz will receive payments in BTC, DOGE, ETH, LTC and other cryptocurrencies within some café stores in summer. Also Ampleforth token will be used as collateral during payments. - WisdomTree Files For Ethereum-traded Fund Seeking For SEC Approval

Asset management firm, WisdomTree, filed for an Ethereum Exchange-traded fund. This ETFs will track the performance of Ethereum and give the traders exposure without dealing directly with the risks of holding the Crypto assets. WisdomTree is the second asset manager to file for an Ethereum ETF, VanEck being the first.The shares would be listed on Cboe’s BZX exchange.
