Coinbase Cryptocurrency Exchange launched new browser extension for its wallet to enable users to easily connect to decentralized applications and decentralized finance through their desktop. This browser extension is available on Google Chrome to 1 million Coinbase wallet users who formerly need to scan a QR code on the mobile phones to connect to decentralised apps. - 23% of ‘Gen Z’ Has Actively Invested in ‘Memes’ Coins

Young, new crypto investors are actively investing in meme cryptocurrencies like Dogecoins according to survey by Gamblers Pick, a betting app. The survey explored the investment strategies of 872 people. 24 percent of the respondents were ‘Gen Zers’ (born between late 1990-early 2010s) and admitted to actively investing. 23% of the ‘Gen Z' are actively invested in ‘memes’coins like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and others. Read Full on CryptoSlate.

- U.S and Germany Lead Among Countries Interested in Ether

Invezz.com conducted a survey using online analytics tool Ahrefs to check which countries in the world are most interested in ether. Data results shows that United States took first place with an equivalent of 36,000 online searches per day. Germany took second place, with an average of monthly 736,300 online searches. - Mecum Auctions Now Accepts Crypto Payments Through BitPay For Car Auctions

Mecum Auctions, popular car auction collector company now accepts crypto payments through BitPay to “attract new customers and sales” according to company’s announcement. Auction settlement can be done in-person or online where bidders can pay with crypto. Payments will be processed through Bitpay, and Mecum will accept five stablecoins like DAI, GUSD, USDC, PAX, BUSD including BTC, BCH, WBTC, ETH, and DOGE. Read Full on mecum.

- MicroStrategy Buys Additional Bitcoin Worth $10 Million

MicroStrategy bought an additional 229 Bitcoin at an average price of roughly $43,663 each, As Reported. MicroStrategy made its first bitcoin purchase in August last year. At the time, The company's bitcoin bet appears to have paid off well so far. Ethereum Foundation researcher Carl Beekhuizen has announced that a 99.95% reduction on energy consumption will be achieved in the new proof of stake (PoS). He said it'd need 2.64 megawatts to match the energy consumption of a village since there are 87,897 validators, excluding exchanges and staking services. India’s government sets up a new regulatory panel to reconsider its stance on cryptocurrency trading in India, according to three sources who had inside information about the discussion. This new panel may be used to check and find out ways to regulate crypto assets and handle them differently from fiat. - The Number Of Cardano Millionaires Spiked By 1,231% In 2021

Cardano has seen a massive 13x rise in the number of millionaire investors in 2021 alone. According to CoinMetrics, wallets holding ADA with at least $1 million have spiked to 1,231% from 504 to 6,710. The number of ADA active addresses also grew to 417.81% between January 1 and April 28, 2021 with transaction count of 382.84%. Nebraska Lawmakers makes progressive move towards passing a bill that will allow state banks to offer cryptocurrency services. Senator Julie Slama said she is “excited for Nebraska to be a national leader in crypto” which will create a major framework for cryptocurrency and digital asset banks in the State of Nebraska.
