- Huobi launches regulated crypto exchange in Malaysia

Huobi Global, crypto exchange headquartered in Singapore has announced launch of another, independent platform. Targeted at the Malaysian market, the new Huobi Labuan is launching trading services shortly after having secured a digital asset trading brokerage service license from Malaysian authorities in Sept. 2020. The new platform will be able to offer crypto spot and derivatives trading for over a dozen cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), EOS and Huobi’s native token. Read Full on cointelegraph.

- XRP Popularity Is Surging To Level Not Seen Since 2017

Google Trends, an analytical dashboard that tracks the popularity of searches across different countries and regions shows interest in XRP surging. Since Nov. 22, interest in XRP has already added almost 300 percent and continues surging. Although two days remain before the data for this week are submitted and indexed, the relative interest value in XRP is going to print a whopping close of 78. - CME Becomes The Largest Futures Market For Bitcoin

CME Group has become the world’s largest Bitcoin (BTC) futures market following a surge in open interest over the past month, industry data shows. In a Friday tweet, Arcane Research announced that CME had overtaken OKEx as the world’s largest Bitcoin futures market. Citing data from Skew, a market intelligence firm, Arcane said open interest in CME’s Bitcoin futures contract has reached $1.16 billion. - Singapore's Third-Largest Bank Preparing To Build A Crypto Custody Solution

United Overseas Bank, Singapore's third-largest bank by total assets, appears to be developing a crypto custody solution. The bank has opened up a position for "VP — Crypto Security Administrator" to get expert advice on how to design a secure solution for "managing crypto keys." The job includes managing the installation of a hardware security module (HSM) — a dedicated hardware device to protect cryptographic keys, setting up a "centralized" key management solution, and maintaining crypto keys, among other responsibilities. Read Full on The Block.

- Raoul Pal Says Institutional Money Is Incoming, Will Propel Bitcoin To New Highs

According to macro investor Raoul Pal, the latest Bitcoin rally is just the beginning of an institutional-investor-led bull market. Bitcoin may hit $150,000 by November 2021. Pal believes that Bitcoin could even reach $250,000 due to the large amount of institutional money currently flowing into the Bitcoin market. The Pizza Hut restaurant chain in Venezuela began to process payments with cryptocurrenies. The activation of the service started in the establishments located in Caracas (Sambil, El Recreo, Líder, Caurimare and las Mercedes), Maracaibo, Barquisimeto and Maracay. Consumers can already pay for their orders by using Cryptobuyer Pay. The Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation released a web series to educate citizens about cryptocurrencies, blockchain and Bitcoin (BTC). The show premiered on Wednesday and consists of eight episodes of six to 12 minutes each that explain the basic concepts of cryptocurrency and blockchain.
