1. India Moves Cargo Trade Documents to Blockchain Platform
CargoX has integrated its Blockchain Document Transfer (BDT) into the Indian Port Community System (PCS) — a subsidiary of the Indian Ports Association aimed at digitizing India’s maritime infrastructure. CargoX stated that the company had run proofs-of-concept to ensure the system’s compliance. 3. South Korean Insurance Company To Use Blockchain For Messages
Major South Korean insurance firm KB Insurance plans to implement a blockchain-enabled mobile message delivery system for its clients. KB will use the system jointly developed with local telecommunication firm KT Corp starting next month. The service will at first deliver payment and termination notices to auto insurance customers, but the firm plans to expand it to all its customers. After Announcing Its anonymous crypto called ‘Ghost’ back in April, John McAfee is preparing to launch a smartphone data service, which would make your phone impossible to track and keep you anonymous. Crypto exchange and custodian Gemini is expanding into Asia, months after its European expansion. The company has hired former Goldman Sachs executive Jeremy Ng in Singapore and is also planning to get licensed in the country. Gemini plans to get licensed in the country from the country’s financial regulator, the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
